Windowed Handspun Socks (2015)

Completed: July 24, 2015.
This is my first project done with my own handspun yarn! I’m not sure I’ll ever wear them 🙂 The main yarn (brown) is the BFL Sock Yarn I did late last year. I realized I didn’t have quite enough to do a complete pair of socks, so I used some of the colourful BFL (Lilypad BFL and Robin’s Egg BFL) to do the the ankles. I alternated the brown and the 2 colours, slipping every 5th brown stitch through the coloured rows, to create the “windowed” effect.
