Luxe the First (2017)

Fibre: Loop Lux Bullseye Bump (25% Cashmere, 25% Silk, 50% Merino)
Yarn: ~261yds chain-plied, slightly heavier than sock weight
Method: Wheel spun with long draw
Completed: September 21, 2017.

The bullseye bump was a centre-pull, lovely ribbon of spinning fibre! It was a quick and easy spin.

Because of the way the colours are “layered” in the originating batt (i.e., it’s not particularly divisible), it seemed to me that the only really sensible way to ply this was with chain-ply.

This was my first experience with the Loop bullseye lux bumps (hence the name… also, the first yarn I spun in our new home in Vermont).

First skein: ~166yds
Second skein: ~95yds
