Night Clouds Socks (2013)

night clouds socks Pattern:  Usual Hybrid Sock Pattern

Yarns:
  Lana Grossa Meilenweit Solo Tono
Method:  Hand knitting
Completed:  June 29, 2013.

These are my standard socks — toe up, following Wendy’s Toe-Up pattern, and Cat Bordhi’s Riverbed Arch expansion/plain heel.   2.25mm needles.  I did entrelac ankles.  I reduced the number of stitches in the round from 8st repeats to 6st repeats to accommodate the different stitch length from width (entrelac angle).  That reduced the “blousing” effect of the entrelac ankle.

Used 92g of yarn for the pair — approx 386m.

contextcontext too In context… warm day for wool socks 🙂
