Spindle-spun White Angora (2022)

Fibre: The Rosefield Handpainted Natural White Angora
Yarn:  Approx 157yds two-ply, slightly less than sock weight.
Method: Spindle-spun, plied with my wheel
Completed:  August 9, 2022.

I worked on this project for a few years.  It was a background project — an easily portable spinning project.

I bought this angora at the same time as some handpainted angora from The Rosefield (see https://www.knitbot.org/gallery/2019/09/08/spindle-spun-angora-handpaint-2019/ ). This was loose fluffs of angora. I initially tried carding it, but found I really didn’t need to — just grabbed some fluff and spun!
