Cables Redux (2007)

CablesRedux Pattern:  An old simple one from Family Circle
Yarn:  Jo Sharp Silk Road Aran Tweed (Wintergrass)
Method:  Hand knit
Completed:  May 7, 2007.

This sweater is sort of a pseudo- or basic-Aran — 3 simple cables and some filler stitch.  It’s knit flat as front, back & 2 sleeves.  I used Jo Sharp’s Silk Road Aran Tweed — delightful to work with, excellent stitch definition.

Overlay This is “redux” because I’d made the pattern before — over 15 years ago, in some simple acrylic yarn.  I loved that sweater!  But it eventually gave out (sagged & bagged).  The new one, shown in progress here, is much crisper.  I hope it stays that way.
