This was a kit — pattern from “Knit Like A Latvian” Ieva Ozolina, along with the necessary wool yarn. I bought the kit at “The Woolly Thistle”, in New Hampshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I bought the kit because I was very drawn to the patterning and colours! And, I’m happy with how that turned out. I did find it a bit challenging to work with 3 colours at once. I tried to weave in as I went, but in the end I found some YouTube videos and learned to twist the colours as I went. Next colour twisting on top through one row, and then twisting underneath on the next round (to undo all the kinks).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t find the instructions super clear, but somehow I managed. I am especially proud of the patterning on both sides of the thumb!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
