This is my first project done with my own handspun yarn!\u00a0 I’m not sure I’ll ever wear<\/em> them \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 The main yarn (brown) is the BFL Sock Yarn<\/a> I did late last year.\u00a0 I realized I didn’t have quite enough to do a complete pair of socks, so I used some of the colourful BFL (Lilypad BFL<\/a> and Robin’s Egg BFL<\/a>) to do the the ankles.\u00a0 I alternated the brown and the 2 colours, slipping every 5th brown stitch through the coloured rows, to create the “windowed” effect.<\/p>\n
