Another pair, like the first ones (https:\/\/www.knitbot.org\/gallery\/2024\/07\/11\/hexa-socks-the-first-2024\/<\/a>). Again, I didn’t do the fairisle patterning in the heel area; my thinking was that with the stripey yarn, doing the sock as a hexagon, attached on opposite sides and then with ankle and toe attachments, would create all the visual interest I needed\/wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t find that the balls of yarn were exactly “twinned” — evidently, the second ball I used started a little later in the colour progression than the first. Okay, so they are fraternal twins…! I’ll probably do this pattern again sometime, and may even do the fairisle, but this is enough for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
