{"id":2899,"date":"2022-08-09T16:36:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-09T20:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.knitbot.org\/gallery\/?p=2899"},"modified":"2023-05-13T16:42:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-13T20:42:13","slug":"spindle-spun-white-angora-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.knitbot.org\/gallery\/2022\/08\/09\/spindle-spun-white-angora-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Spindle-spun White Angora (2022)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Fibre:<\/strong> The Rosefield Handpainted Natural White Angora<br><strong>Yarn<\/strong>:\u00a0 Approx 157yds two-ply, slightly less than sock weight.<br><strong>Method<\/strong>: Spindle-spun, plied with my wheel<br><strong>Completed<\/strong>:\u00a0 August 9, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I worked on this project for a few years.\u00a0 It was a background project &#8212; an easily portable spinning project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I bought this angora at the same time as some handpainted angora from The Rosefield (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.knitbot.org\/gallery\/2019\/09\/08\/spindle-spun-angora-handpaint-2019\/\">https:\/\/www.knitbot.org\/gallery\/2019\/09\/08\/spindle-spun-angora-handpaint-2019\/<\/a> ).  This was loose fluffs of angora.
