In the MYCS class, I had an extra yarn kit, for the &#8220;blending&#8221; draft project.  I decided to use that project as a jumping off point, and use the kit to also do some gradients project work.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I set up the warp with one gradient, did two towels with the treadling pretty much as &#8220;straight up&#8221; projects from the class, and the third towel has a weft gradient in addition to the warp gradient (and I dropped the weft stripes).  The towels are all very different from each other, and interesting in their own ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was also my first project on a 4-shaft, 45&#8243; LeClerc &#8220;Mira&#8221; counterbalance loom that I had rescued from an estate sale.
